Aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery encompasses a wide
range of procedures performed for both women and men to reshape and
restore normal structures of the body; improving both appearance and
self-esteem. There has been a tremendous growth in demand for
aesthetic surgery in recent years. The number of cosmetic surgery
procedures performed since 1996 has increased by 50%, according to
the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
The Center for Aesthetic Surgery at Mount Kisco Medical Group is
designed to offer the full range of aesthetic surgical procedures,
performed under the high standards of care for which our Group is
known.
A team approach
Our team is composed of a team of highly skilled surgeons who have
received rigorous training in three different aesthetic surgery
specialties: two in plastic and reconstructive surgery, four in
dermatology and dermatologic surgery, and two in facial plastic
and reconstructive surgery. These physicians accomplish aesthetic
and functional solutions for patients with solutions that are
carefully individualized. Practicing within close proximity, they
maintain regular communication and can easily share with each other
their perspectives, based on their depth of knowledge and experience.
A patient requiring the skills of more than one aesthetic surgeon
can find it here. This collaborative approach cannot be found
elsewhere in Northern Westchester.
Trusted standards of care
All aesthetic surgeons adhere to the training and board
certification standards set by their specialty board. They have all
trained and practiced at highly regarded institutions in New York
and are skilled in the latest treatments and surgical techniques.
Prior to surgery, our physicians take great care to help patients
understand their surgery, the anticipated results and recovery time.
Safety is a priority for patients. Minor surgical procedures are
performed within our suite under highly monitored conditions. More
complex surgery is performed in an ambulatory surgery center or a
hospital setting. All of our aesthetic surgeons have surgical
privileges at Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
